Real food within reach. We are lucky to have in our downtown two complementary markets - the outdoor seasonal Lancaster Farmers Market and the indoor year-round Keller Market House - that provide our community with valuable venues for real food and real relationships.
Our markets have always been a collective effort, and we are grateful for the continued support of our members, donors and sponsors who make our projects possible. We look forward to growing in 2020 and we hope that you’ll join us because Local Foods are Healthier!
Healthier for Us
Local foods are fresher and less processed, providing more nutrition for our families. It doesn’t get any fresher than the produce you can find at our farmers market on Saturday mornings. We also work to ensure that this food is accessible to as many as possible with our SNAP/EBT acceptance and Produce Perks incentive program.
Healthier for Our Environment
Our local family farms are stewards of the fair fields of our region. Preserving our existing farmland and supporting new farmers makes our home a richer and greener place to live. Local foods also have a smaller environmental footprint, as they don’t travel thousands of miles to reach us.
Healthier for Our Community
We work with over 100 small Ohio businesses at our indoor and outdoor markets. Providing them with vital sales venues and connecting them with customers makes our local economy stronger. The markets themselves are vibrant public spaces that provide places for our community to gather and interact in real life and real time. We invite in resources such as AHA! for interactive kids activities, OSU Extension for cooking and nutrition demonstrations, and experts of all kinds to lead workshops.
Help us to make our corner of the world a healthier place to live. In turn you’ll reach our network of engaged and community-minded customers. You can find details and benefits of sponsorship on the 2020 Sponsorship Guide (click button below).
Please join us today as a sponsor and become a local food champion!
